Tesco cutting loyalty points on fuel, where to now?

Hi All,
I'm wondering where to get my fuel now. I get all my fuel included in my company car, so hoping to benefit from loyalty fuel vouchers.
I used to get the Shell vouchers (worth 0.5p per £1 spent), then discovered
Tesco had 2p per £1, so easy decision, it then reduced to 1p/£1, and will drop to 0.5p/£1 on the 1st Novemeber, so where should I go for best rewards?
Morissons? (though none near me), or Sainsburys (Don't know much about the nectar points value, and get a blank on their website for some reason.

    I fill up circa £60 once or twice a week so this is of interest for me.

    Many garages ask about Nectar Cards - but I have no idea how this works.

    I do have a Morrisons Miles card, but rarly bother going to Morrisons as I tend to do my shopping and fill up the car together/in one trip and I dislike shopping in the Morrisons near me as it is not a very nice store.

    Yes this is very annoying- especially as tesco now seems to us to be getting more expensive for shopping. Perhaps now martin could do an examination into which reward points scheme is most advantageous when buying petrol?

    I much prefer playing safe with branded fuel (90% of the time) and the price is generally the same. This week with the Tesco 5p voucher they will get my business but I will only be saving 2p versus the Shell Station.

    BP = Nectar Points

    Shell = Shell Drivers Club.

    Sainsburys give 1 Nectar point per litre, which is worth 0.5p.

    I haven't filled up at a BP station for ages but am pretty sure that they give the same Nectar point(s) as Sainsburys.

    i wasn't aware of this, thanks for the heads up.
    there really is no point in me keeping my clubcard now as i fill up around £150 a week using tesco mostly for the points.

    .

    Yeah, noticed this on a notice slapped on the pumps today - kept that one quiet didn't they? So only 1 point per £2 now. Although it says if you have a Tesco Credit Card you stll get 2 per £2.

    Asda CC gives 1p off per litre at Asda (used to be 2p) and it's deducted from the final total on the spot.

    Nectar is the obvious one for me. It should be easy to find a BP or sainsburys petrol station.
    Further more you can collect them from non petrol purchases elsewhere and spend in lots more still.

    Why not just go to wherever the petrol is cheapest?

    Because, as the OP says, the company pays for the fuel - so the reward scheme is more important than the price!
