Nothing to do with having fully comp or third party!
If your car is damaged by a driver with fully comp insurance/third party it makes no difference to your claim against them. You don't have to adhere to their ts + cs - you can get your car repaired at your choice of repairer, (and have brand new parts fitted!)0
