What can I do about my non existent signal?

Options
I never had great reception on Orange, maybe 3 bar outside, 1 inside if I was very lucky, but in the past month I've damn all in or out. I have phoned Orange who inform me the only thing I can do is buy a Blackberry and make calls over the internet, The don't even acknowledge there is a problem but something has happened within the past month, Unless something to do with the T-Mobile thing which I can't get a signal with either, they inform me my nearest transmitter is over 6 miles away.

Any ideas?

  • Alright mate? How you doing, me old mucker? Body off of Baywatch, face off of CrimeWatch? Say hi to your mom for me.

Know any good jokes? I like a good joke, I do. Like when someone trod in doggy do. That were real funny. Real funny it were.

    ANYWAYS........

What you needs is Orange SureSignal with a UMA enabled handset. http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/offer/uma

OR move to Vodafone and they do a similar thing except you can use any handset you like. Yeah, that right... Any ting u wan!!!

Enjoy Your Texting. And remember: Always Text Safely (not when driving or mowing the lawn). A phone is a serious piece of equipment. Like a mortgage advisor.

Now, I head back to the asylum. The man in white coat come to get me with his SureSignal!

You no tell me you in long term contract!!!

Why you commit to company that not give u what u want!!!!

The big company, they not gonna put up transmitter just for u!!!

    So it ur only choice!!!

U have to ask politey for them to end contract or U have to upgrade to UMA enabled handset!!! There simply no other economically viable option 4 u!!!!!!

But at least the big company, they get rich and hence more able to reduce price for customers like me!!!
So for that we all thank u!! Thank u very very much indeed. U may have reduced my price by £0.00000001! Every little help!!!

Well I am out :) They let me out of contract, I emailed the CEO someone called and they said they are going to process it.

Only problem I might have is that if they request the phone back I don't have it, I sold it an upgraded to an HTC Desire after the IOS4 on iPhone 3G fiasco, however I did tell the advisor that but he never mentioned it.
  • If you told the advisor that, it'll be recorded on a phonecall..

Well my wife took a call from someone in charge on Thursday, he was looking to know if I still had the phone so by the sounds of it they want the phone back which I don't have, Odd after the original supervisor didn't mention it was needed, It being handled by the CEO and haven't been able to get in touch with anyone since.
