Iphone Security Hack...

Just thought I would inform people with an iphone to be aware that the security feature on the iphone does not work, or well can easily be hacked.

Lock iphone as normal
At passcode screen, tap emergency call
type ### and then hit call followed immediately by the lock key.

This then gets you into the phone to view contact info, phonebook and voicemal.

In order to go 1 step further and access the photo album, go to edit contact, edit photo, and then choose existing and wha la, you now have access to the photo album aswell as the phone feature.

This will no doubt prompt Apple for a very quick security release.

This is for IP4, im not sure if it works on 3 and 3GS models.

Already fixed in 4.2 apparently, but unfortunately it's not available yet.

I reproduced it once with a 3GS but I haven't been able to do it since. You need to hit the power button when the call actually tries to place and you see 'Emergency Call - Calling' on the screen

On IP4 it works no problems either by hitting them both at the same time, or just slightly after.

Apple will need to release this soon as its been doing the rounds the last couple of days.
