    I haven't got surround sound yet but have a panasonic viera telly. It's about 3 years old now but does the job. We are moving next week so I wll be getting a new telly but will probably wait until the January sales.

    pretty much the smae spec as my media machine,hope your GFX card doesn't die like mine though :(
    so you should be able to run (in transcoding settings)
    • buffer 600
    • check its set for 2 cores
    • video quality:keyint=1:vqscale=1:vqmin=1 (lossless quality)
    if you get choppy playback then drop the quality down until it settles

    if you go into navigation and shares you can specify folders/drives
    by default it shares all drives
