Hi
Im in the process of switching my CPW contract to O2 directly for an Iphone, and dont know whether its worth transering my number or getting a new one, are there any issues with number transfers?
I have requested my PAC from cpw and should get it soon and do i just give this to o2 when i order my phone? How long will my new phone be out of use when it comes?
It wouldnt be a huge problem to mass text my friends/contacts with my new number as i have unlimited txts.

Porting normally takes 2 working days, You just give it to o2 along with the number you want to keep and they do the rest.0

Really a matter of preference. You can sometimes be without your phone working for a short time whilst the transfer takes place.0

Well I look at it this way, How long have you had the old number for?, how many people use your number to call you?
If you have lots of spam calls about PPI etc or some psycho ex that calls you at 3am crying begging to be taken back, then just change your number and tell your select few.
If you have loads of calls from lots of people then keep your number.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740
