instrument? I'm a musician and teach pupils, so just curious
And about that girl - your OH is clearly interested in you and not her, and she seems a bit strange. I'd be trying to distance that relationship with her, if that's at all possible..Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

:rotfl::rotfl: i've not been able to afford 1 yet which is why i'm not sure on the length of time x
Oh yeah, i'm not bothered re. how OH is with her as he is easy to get on with - he has lots of female friends and some he even takes out for a meal without me - he's known them for years - this is just someone who he'd become friends with whilst dating me and has never gone out just the 2 of them. It was just that i was trying to be friends and the way she just didn't reply to my messages. At least when we all go out i'll know i'm not the one in the wrong with anything so i'll have no reason to feel awkward :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

DDFW, From reading all this, it seems clear that this girl has her eye on your OH and is being encouraged by her parents in this. But your OH does not seem interested in return, other than in a casual friendship kind of way. She is doing all the running.
If I were you, I wouldn't bother trying to pursue a friendship with her. As slowlyfading has said, she sounds rather strange. She seems rude and she clearly gets this from her parents, who are equally rude. Ignore the whole lot of them, other than remaining civil if you and OH are meeting up with her.
As an aside, people who insist on using their phones all the time when out socially should have the phones forcibly removed and dropped down a drain. Really, it is the height of rudeness and drives me insane.0 -

Yes, exactly, why bid, how very annoying. At least people are keeping in touch though which is better than nothing.
Sorry you had a sleepless night. You seem to be having more and more horrible days at work, hope you find something else soon.0 -

No, she is the one who should feel awkward but she clearly has no sense of propriety or self-awareness. Throw her off-guard by being really smiley, friendly and confident but never ask her on any outings again.0 -
