I thought it was a limit of 8 tickets per card and billing address,NOT per city....they can cancel every transaction on the card used if you go over 8........tbh i thought 8 was generous, normally its a limit of 4...good luck anyways

do you have to pay in euros on the irish site?

I brought 2 tickets through Ticketmaster.ie and 2 tickets through Ticketmaster.de (all in german though!)

Both transactions show on my account on Ticketmaster.co.uk.

Makes you wonder why Ticketmaster did not make use of their computer servers overseas once they realised they could not cope with the demand!!

At least the general public were switched on enough to realise they could book through other ticketmaster sites in other countries.

I booked 6 tickets for the wednesday using ticketmaster then later in the day got 4 tickets for the friday - have confirmation booking reference etc - will they still cancel them then? The money is pending waiting to be taken from my card?

Just been on the ticketmaster website and it says "There is a ticket limit of 8 tickets per person and per city on this event " so do you think i'll be ok then as i booked for two different events?

I booked standing / unreserved seating at Manchester for my girlfriend. Only a minor point but why does it have seat numbers listed when I check the booking in my account?

It just has seat numbers so that they can keep track of how many tickets they have sold. You won't have to sit in those seats, and they won't be reserved. HTH x

It's per city, so if you booked for two different cities you'll be fine.

Well thats good of the agencies, that should really deter the touts..you know having to buy for different Citys:rotfl:.....tbh what a joke 8 per city!!it should be like ticketmaster IE and 8 per card per household..even at that 8 per household is generous as its usually limited to 4 or 6...

  • Oh well at least I won't have to try and get onto Ticketmaster another 15,000 times today. Still gutted I didn't manage to get tickets for Glasgow though.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .
