Surely if it shouldn't work, but you are getting the discount of one of the items you are already quids in?

Not really if the 15% code should work...others have gotten it for £41.65 instead of £49....the guy I spoke to hadn't a clue and kept me hanging on for over five minutes.

Can anyone help? I phoned Debenhams and they have said the 15% shouldn't be coming off Estee Lauder....but it,s coming off the perfume, just not the collection!

Hiya, the collection is already heavily discounted so l'm not surprised it's not working on it, but if you've got it working on the perfume when it shouldn't be - bonus!

    Happy moneysaving all.
  • Not really...cos if the 15% no longer comes off the collection, it is actually £6 cheaper to buy it from boots when you take into account their offer of £10 in points for every £50 spent...

I just would rather have ordered it from Debenhams as they have the free delivery. Although I could always collect it from boots and save myself the p&p....the more I save, the better presents I can buy people without going over budget!!!! :rotfl:

  • not sure if this will help but I went in store and got mine :-D - haggle with sales advisor (was buying foundation and a toner and haggled for the make up "gift" and she gave it me. Used my beauty club points and got £10 on there to!)

What Debenhams was this? And did you try after making it clear you were gonna buy the make up? I wouldn't mind buying some foundation and other make up products too, I don't wear perfume and even if I did, I don't like Estee Lauder ones! :o

I went into Boots today and bought £24 perfume for a Xmas pressy, and bought the set for myself. Got 1500 points and 4 tester perfume sprays for free.

If it's any help to anyone I rang and spoke with a lovely lass at Boots CS today about the Estee Lauder perfumes because our local Boots doesn't stock them. She told me that if you order a perfume from Boots.com and didn't like it you could return it for a refund. Personally I don't like the idea of returning high value goods once you've opened them but she checked with her colleagues and confirmed that this was correct.

She was so sweet that I couldn't bring myself to ask her what they might do if you didn't return the blockbuster... ?
