I still dont understand why the CAB said that (when i told them my circumstances) the pca was void when it clearly says that the claimants reviews will be based on the pca normal review which in my case is 2012.

Because the rules have now changed and everybody on IB who will not reach retirement age by April 2014 will now be put onto ESA at some point in the next few years. For those having a scheduled review, this will be done at that time and the rules will be those of ESA, not IB.

The IB rules will apply until your next review and your PCA is valid until then.

Thanks for the information, I had a review form that i post last week i'm waiting for my medical.Before they kept canceling my appointments fore my last review due to my "not lost but its not here file" but when i saw the doctor she was lovely:eek:! I got very upset as I couldn't recall certain dates (as I blocked it out when the baby died). yes I know people are shocked when I say that on here lol but she was good as I had PND and lost a baby due to a heart defect, but i think with whats happening now people are worried but there are good staff in the system.

I was called for a work focus interview but I called and they put it on hold for 6 months as I was due to give birth on the day! The only recent conact was the renewal form i sent last week.

So how long does it normaly take from sending your form telling them about your conditon to having a medical? I'm on I.B.
