Thanks for the replys. It's given me something to think about. Could i send them a cheque for £1 every month? With a completely different bank now, so would they get my new account details from a cheque?
No they don't discuss anything with my mum, my mum knows to say i'm not in etc, i do the same for her when someone phones looking for her. They just ask to pass on a message to phone back with a ref number etc. The calls aren't harrasment, they only phone once in a blue moon really. But i would like to try writing to them again saying i want all contact to be in writing from now on, when i did this before they refused it.
I don't know if the account is still open, i do recieve a statement from them every month, don't have a card for the account or anything though.0 -

I wouldn't send them a cheque - that's giving them your signature, and DCAs cannot be trusted with signatures.
Harassment is what you make it - if you don't want them to phone, tell them not to phone in writing.
And if they ignore your letter, report them. It doesn't matter what they refuse - you set the agenda and how you deal with them, not the other way around. They should be thankful you're even dealing with them at all.0 -

I can afford more than £15 a month, but there is no interest being added to the account, where as i have other debts at 34.9% that i would much rather pay off first, so i keep telling them £15 is all i can afford.
I did originally set up a DD with them, but on the first payment they took £115 out of my bank instead of the £15, took them 2 weeks to give me it back, leaving me with nothing for the whole 2 weeks! So i'd prefer to phone every month and pay now instead, as i do not trust them!
I have in the past asked them to keep all correspondence in writing, but they refused that completely!
Set up a standing order for a fixed amount then you will not need to phone them to make payment.0 -

Shouldn't be too difficult to find those out.
SO will at least put you in control of what you pay, and not them.
Purely for their greed, I'd reduce it to £1 a month, and use the remainder to pay your other creditors and get those out of the way sooner.
Under no circumstances agree to set up a Direct Debit - you WILL find your account emptied out if you do.0
