fm aerial in wall

i have just moved into my rented flat
i have 2 aerial points in the wall by the tv, ones says tv and one says fm
does anyone know what the fm one is for ?
thanks for any help you can give

really ? ive never had to plug a radio into the wall with an aerial before :undecided0

Yes , really ...... good quality radios & hi-fi type receivers will give much better sound when plugged into a proper fm aerial.0 -
By plugging into an external aerial you'll also possibly be able to receive stations you cannot normally pick up. I have however seen the wall sockets which are only wired to the tv aerial, therefore giving no reception to speak of on FM.0

The other big advantage is there is less chance of interference (when moving around by the radio or from computers and modems etc).0
