I'm Looking to Buy Non-see thru' Black Leggings?

I just wish people would ask a friend " can you see through these?", some of the sights I've seen don't bear thinking about......... hope this thread makes people realise that you can see 'everything', through some leggings...
Unfortunately we don't all have such good friends to come with us on shopping trips. I think my type of shopping trips (go to EVERY store, try on EVERYTHING in sight then go back to the first store....) would drive my friends mental! However its how I like to spend a free afternoon once a month or so...(and funnily enough rarely buy anything as I wait for the sale 9/10 times!)
That and store lighting which is so bright and lit from above can make it very hard to see whats happening on your legs, you become strangely drawn in by eye bags/spots/your belly which are all worsened by the harsh lighting. Then theres the idea that most of us don't try on leggings before buying, we just guesstimate our size and allow the Lycra to give...
Perhaps it would be easier if stores just sold quality fabric and have a warning label in transparent clothing....
But yes, it would be nice to have some sort of commenting mirror to forewarn you on clothing which does nothing for you, sadly leggings are not the only thing affected by this issue (...builders bum skinny jeans, too small flip-flops, muffin-top tight vests...seen it all too often and worry enough to spend most of my life in black sack type clothing!!:rotfl:I feel for those people!)

finally got a pair from American Apparel the other day for £22 and they are just about ok for now, altho' they're not like the same gym-type/yoga material that i was hoping for. there were some others there inc. thermal and thicker ones too (for extreme cold). if you know which shop that has a pair made with good lycra then pls let me know. thanks for all of you who've replied...0

AVON.... I ve been wearing mine today . At the moment they are £10 a pair but usually £15. They are control ones and seems good quality. Thick waistband and with them being contol ones they are thicker than normal too but thinner than treggings or jeggins whatever lol. Also have the shape in the bum area that bring ones bum higher. Because of this i usually wear a longer jumper or dress to cover mine even tho im only a 12 Hth s someone.0
