Metal object found in Morrisons Frozen Swede

HAdn't considered how it may look on the press angle, good point. My aim was/is to ensure that no one else has an injury from the another fragment. I have sent the images to mossisons so its in their court. My aim to get advise from these forums seems pretty fruitless. Thus far I have had too many people with nothing to do posting nonsense comments. Suprised Martin Lewis keeps it going.
I am suprised that people do not think that finding a piece of metal in a food source is dangerous. Does no one care about what can happen to others in society?0 -

That is offensive and very prejudice, I see no point in trying to contribute to a forum of chimps and fools. I will not post updates as it obvious you have already decided I am some type of fraud.
I hope you all choke!0 -

Not in the slightest, I think you have mostly done the right thing - however, going to the press does seem a bit heavy handed (and exactly the kind of thing an ambulance chaser would have done).
At the end of the day you cannot legislate for every eventuality that could occur because society is a dangerous place! I think we should just wait and see as to what Morrison's do and be thankful that noone was actually hurt.
Good day!Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

Good day!
Hear here!
I agree, going to the papers straightaway is over the top but to be fair to the OP he hasn't mentioned compensation as far as I can see and just wants it not to happen again. The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

I dont know.......
Why is it that as soon as you get a few people not agreeing with you, they seem to get all humpty on you and declare that we are all useless and that they are off.
I agree that running to the papers was a wee bit premature, give Morrisons a chance to investigate where this came from before you start to build the gallows for the store manager. Its all likelyhood its got nothing to do with Morrisons but with there supplier of the vegtables, and they will let them know what happened and they will make sure that futher errors like this will not happen again.
Give them a chance to sort it out,and good luck.Forum spellcheckers are the pitts.0 -
The OP has a point. He never mentioned (nor really gave any impression that he was after compo) then a couple of users jump in with some pretty childish remarks (which has resulted in a pretty pathetic spin-off/joke thread). I'm not surprised the OP threw his toys out the pram tbh. Some people need to grow up.
For the record, yes, he did go to the papers too early, but it doesn't exactly look like he's after compo.0 -
Hello Gills.
As i can see we have all had our negative comments before, however there is little need to wish us all to choke.
Most posts will start off with good comments, then you generally get a few people who will not agree with you before the post start to settle down and you will get mostly constructive and helpful comments.
The amounts of times that people, who have been in a real quandry have been helped on thses forums with a number of issues can only be described as astounding,if the OP would have just held on a little im certain that they will have been given the best advice and help.Forum spellcheckers are the pitts.0 -
I'd be interested to know what the OP expected Morrisons to do on a Sunday afternoon?
Does s/he think they have a hit squad poised to come out waving wads of cash and ready to close all their stores while the frozen swede department is fingertip searched?
The 100% sure fire way to make sure it doesn't happen again is to *shock horror* buy a swede, prepare, cook and mash it yourself."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
