Moving Sky Box

Hi
Not sure if anyone will be able to help here but anything would be appreciated. I currently have sky at my own home and would like to move it to where my daughter stays with her mum. I tried to move it myself but not sure if they have a mini dish or not (so many around house) but that was the message giving when trying to install. So my question is this how do I move my sky box etc to the new house but obviously keep the billing at my own? and would this normally cost anything to re-install at the new house?
Thanks

Well first you need to establish if they have a dish or not. How hard can that be?-one is either fixed to the wall or it isn't. It's not going to work without one...
Cost of dish, LNB, install and basic cabling to one room starts at around £80. Or not too difficult a DIY job if you prefer. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Firstly you can't relocate your box to a different house and keep the billing at your house your account address must be the address the sky box is at.What you can do is ask for paperless billing and no mailing to be sent at all.If there's no dish installed you can contact sky and ask for a engineer to install at the new Address, it previously cost £60 to do this but sky have scrapped the charge last week!

If its just the one box and NOT a multi room setup then just move the box don't bother telling them if you don't want to, they wont know its moved and they wont care.
Often done for rental property's etc..0 -
Out of interest what did you connect it to?0

Unless it is within the 12 month initial period when it must be connected to his landline.0 -
