I'm amazed Debenhams have not pulled this or stopped sending vouchers out. In Birmingham Fri loads of people had the vouchers and people were talking about going to each till and had piles of print outs.

If everyones only buying £5 items they must be losing so much money?

Wonder if they will chase anyone if they have email or address details for customers - I have an account with them so all my details are registered.

Did get an extra to use on the animal sanctuary tombola - hope they dont chase me over that:eek:

I still have a code they text me, don't know if I'll use it as had 1 voucher and them one off other email for the sanctuary tombola prize.

Cant see they will chase everyone for multiple voucher use but hope they do not do this!

WOW your family are definately taking Debenhams to the cleaners.
I am so suprised they were allowed to stand there and use 26 one after the other, were there not any people waiting behing them wondering what the heck was going on?

They didn't use it one after the other. They all did it separately, so my mum used about 5/6 in one go, my sister 6/7 etc.

And the SA didn't bother entering in the unique codes either. When my sister gave the first voucher, the SA asked the main till and was told that they could accept multiple vouchers but couldn't use several for one item. It had to be for a £5 item or more.

EDIT: My family weren't the only ones using the vouchers. There were others too.
  • Lots of people will have printed these out for friends & family who don't have email addresses, so I can't see what grounds Debenhams would have for chasing anyone up, I don't think that's anything to worry about.

I'd be more worried that someone trying to use 20 or so vouchers in the same store might be asked to leave! Imagine the shame!

I don't think anyone would be silly enough to use 20+ in one go by themselves. :p

Oh and btw, my dad and them didn't try to use all their vouchers at first in one go, the SA just kindly informed them.

Those of u printing this more than once I'd be careful as CS lady told me they send the print offs to Debenhams&if people are using the same one twice they will receive a letter via email or post asking for money back as only one voucher per person. Not sure how this would work though unless you already have an account with them as te only details you give are name&email address so not sure how they would track it?!

I used 2 yesterday on 2 seperate tills and both sales assistants ripped them up and put them in the bin.

I really wanted a Cath Kidston mug but couldn't see it anywhere in the homeware. Can anyone who's got them tell me whereabouts they were? TIA x

Mine (Manchester Market St) are in homeware, just amongst all the other mugs.

    They have blue spots:

Except its small cowboys all over, not one big one.

    Oh yeah, I spent mine.

First thing that I went up with was a (badly needed) pyrex jug, £5 but showed up as £4. The woman told me I needed to spend over £5 for it to go through the till.

Now I expect that's a lie, and it didn't say anything on the voucher, but I capitulated, and they got me.

Saw a pestle and mortar that I've been after for £20. So £19 and a free jug. Not too bad.
