What a kerfuffle today! Family meal out coz there's about 4 birthdays in just over a week, we'd just finished and we were putting coats on. Then my mum's partner's mum felt a bit funny, not long after she fainted. Someone rang for an ambulance and she was in and out of conciousness while we were all panicking. Eventually she was carted off to the hospital and was on a trolley in the middle of a corridor, she's had a couple of tests and she's perked up now. Just got home, we'll find out what's going on later.
I shall be flying tomorrow!Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -

Hi all
Hows everyone doing ? I've been missing you all. Puter now fixed so you need to put up with me again Sorry !I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Wow lil_me you have been down in my neck of the woods. I've also "done" London, didn't buy anything (well, nothing to bring home) and still spent a fortune! What is Merlin's Magic Wand please? Shall I google...?
I've just been out to clear car of junk (which had surprisingly little) ready for the buyer to collect in the morning. I thought "I know I'll move it off the road, it'll be safer near the flat's garages". So up the slope we went, round the corner and there is now a lovely dent and scrape all along the left hand side . Argh I am so cross with myself. I have emailed the buyer and asked if he still wants it. Looking at what he sells he's going to break it up anyway but I'm still annoyed. I don't want to knock any money off, it's already going for a song.
Sorry for the rant, I had to get it off my chest. I feel like such an idiot sometimes.0 -

ETA oooh MK beer festival - is it still on on Saturday? We've had a good few days in London, a few little hiccups like DS1 trying to jump off the tube at every stop, DS2 refusing to use down escalators so I now have sore ankles from LOTS of stairs, being unable to access our travel lodge as some pillock had driven into a fuel pump etc but DS1 loved Lego land even if we got soaked and DS2, well this picture says it all http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=15645625&l=ac5e1aedf2&id=524760485 I actually found out about the place through this site (Pink Fairy? If anyone remembers her) and it was a wonderful day. I openly admit cacking my pants when she mouthed my hand then turned to face me nose to nose! Her name is Duma, a 12 year old wolf. DS2 actually asked the handler 'Am I dreaming are you real?' which I think puts how he felt into a few wordsIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Bottoms, I burnt my arm twice making the pittas. DS1s are just as nice as the Kenwood ones, as was this aubergine salad. One to make again.
I need to find Halloween costumes for the boys who didn't tell me till tonight that they needed them for tomorrow. We usually have a hallloween party as it was DFILs brthday but it is the first year without him so I was ignoring it. Can I just send them to school covered in flour as they curently are?
Still need to iron then I can slope off to bed.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

http://www.merlinsmagicwand.org/default.asp?css=1 Merlin's magic wand, yes Rainbow81 we have
my friend lived in Sutton and now she's closer to Epsom but coming back up north next month.
Lamewolf, she is lovely. So gentle with the boys too. She seems to be coping very well without Dakota. DS2 was also upset when he heard she had passed awayhe really wanted to meet her. He's called his toy wolf he came home with (to add to the huge collection) Duma Dakota. Loosing 3 in 18 months isn't good at all, fingers crossed they get some newcomers at some point. They've had to seperate Mai off too as Mosi is being a minx. Have you ever visited the Anglian Wolf Society?
toochoosey I've just realised (thanks to your post) I haven't got home contents insurance......oops, I was supposed to shop around before we went as the renewal was huge....One day I might be more organised...........
