:wave: Hi everyone-I'm back. Had a lovely time in Spain, lovely people, great food, and came back with a whole suitcase full of Spanish sausages/chorizo/morcillio and assorted cheeses. Goodness knows what the luggage inspectors thought!
I have to say what a lovely thing it was to get back home to a clean, tidy (ish) house! I was even organised enough to ask MIL to put the heating on for us before we arrived!
My other bit of thrilling news is that while we were away the guy DH had organised to fix the broken window in the close, and the broken door-window had been and it's done... all done. Even the one MIL had to pay for! :j (after two years! That's what joining the flylady thread gets you!)I am inordinately chuffed about this, and keep glancing over at my lovely whole windows! I know, I'm an un-cureable saddo!
Lovely to be home, and back to flying! I'm off to catch up with the thread...... x

Monday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
Level One
Declutter the floors
Vacuum decluttered floors!
Tidy coats and shoes, put summer ones away for next summer or in the bin or charity shop bag as required!
Level Two
declutter and dust the tops of any units and dust ornaments
Wipe the sofas if needed or wash covers as required
Wipe and water plants, dust and deweb
Declutter and wipe fire surround
Level Three
Check house for draughts and make a plan to plug them before it gets REALLY wintery cold!
Hang pictures/mirrors etc that you have had for AAAAGES and not got round to doing yet!
Empty and clear out a cupboard or drawer..

Extras
HHI or HHC doing some task you ALWAYS put off!

Wipe the skirtings and window frames
empty and wash out bins and fill coal/kindling baskets as required

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
Level One
[STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Shine the sink![/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe fronts of appliances and units
Get out your toothbrush and scrub the grout and taps!
Wipe table and replace cloth if needed[/STRIKE]
Level Three
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe window sills
Clean the oven and hob..
Scrubbing of the fridge[/STRIKE]

Extras
Sort the childrens undies.. what needs replacing/flinging/hitting with a stick?
Wipe skirtings
wash windows
Thoroughly clean out the jars and spices and cereal shelves

Wednesday - Master bedroom & landing
Level One
Strip and wash sheets
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing clean sheets
Level Two
15 minutes floordrobe clearance
Wash windows
Vacuum floors
Level Three
Dust and deweb
Wipe paintwork
Sort through a cupboard.. make it neat and tidy and get rid of what you no longer wear/need/use
Extras
Sort through a box of junk fom the landing
Binbag dance
Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs!
HHI or half hour doing something that needs it!

Thursday ~ Bathroom, Study and Stairs!
Level One
Declutter floors
Vacuum/mop all these floors
Level Two
Wipe keyboard/monitor etc.. bath, basins, bog.. the works!!
scrub the tiles.. use an old toothbrush for the grout.
Wash bath mats, shower curtains, net etc
Level Three
Wipe paintwork on the landings
Clear and tidy and sort towels
Clear and wipe the desk. do relevant filing/shredding etc
Extras
HHI

Morning all

Been AWOL so far this week as we have been busy doing out of the house stuff. Went to visit my Aunt yesterday and are off to Magna today with a friend, I won a family ticket in the summer :money:we are taking snap with us so should be a v cheap but enjoyable day out.

Vanilla so sorry to hear about DD's school problems, I hope the new school is a vast improvement for her.

Sorry to hear your news as well tooch, the 'right' way will present itself to you.

This pc has been acting up again I really need to get a replacement sorted in the next couple of weeks, I know DH would just say 'get a new one' but there is so much emotion tied up with this one which has stopped me before now. It's times like this I miss him more than ever. He could be quite a good flyboy on occasions too.

Had better go and get dressed and get sarnies made or we won't be going anywhere.

I'm having a cuppa before i start.

DD had none of it this morning and is away to school. She has a waterfall thing to do in TD and said it had to be finished today and really didn't want to miss it. So she's away on the promise that she will say nothing if anything is said and if anyone touches her she won't do anything except go to the teacher. She went down to her room to get changed and came up in school uniform, she's a determint little girl.

Imust go check my online banking and sort a few bills out.

morning all!

Tis DD1's 20th birthday today! How time flies! As her health is slowly improving we are hoping to go to a local pub for a meal tonight as a family - I don't think we have done this since she got ill 5 years ago!

Fingers crossed.

As she wants the whole caboodle this year- I'm off to blow up balloons and stick up birthday banners!
