Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.

Now and then it seems that life is just too much.

They probably come at 3 months as that is when a lot of people think their baby needs food when really they are just having a growth spurt!

Freja is a bit odd.. she didn't do the 6 week feeding frenzy and other than a day here and there she hasn't done colic either.. I think I may have spawned a perfect baby!! lol.. She is going to be a hellish teenager! Either that or the next one will be the devil incarnate!

  • ok have shined the sink, load of washing in, half the dishes washed and now drip drying.

not sure what i want to have for dinner, may go for boiled egg and soldiers and wipe down the kitchen sides and units whilst thats cooking.

will update my list properly either later on this evening or tomorrow am.

vanilla, i would be going with a "sickness" for your dd for a few days, as it would remove her from the situation for a week or so if its coming up to half term and give everyone a chance to cool down.

jasper conran: well done you telling oh to bogoff, would be better if you told him to pick up a duster :p but slow and steady is the way to go. take it a day at a time and in a couple of months you will be wondering why it took so long to join in.

pigpen: for the list thing, what about checking for scrached cds, dvds, computer cds etc and chucking if that badly damaged. also what about checking contraception aka valli to see if its out of date or not. last thing we want is any flybabies due to expired protection :D

love, hugs and spoons to everyone

vanilla great news on the other school - I would just tell her current school that she is totally stressed by what is going on and wont be there as you are frightened what might happen to her.

Pigpen I hope they find what is affecting your sister and she is feeling better soon.
Toochoosey (((hugs))) sorry I havent been on earlier - I am sorry to hear about your father - you are in my thoughts - I agree with Maxonian...........................
Whatever your relationship was, it's still a part of you and your make -up.
The right thing to do will come to you....

      xxx
This is exactly what I was thinking.

msgnomey - good to hear that everything is ok and I hope the painkillers are taking effect - I hope you are being good this time and resting ((hugs)))

nellis10 welcome to the thread - working from home can cause havoc so we had better get you sorted:D will send you a pm shortly.

VJ2010 glad you found the lists a help - are you going to join us? will send you the pm anyway.
      pigpen suggestions for extras.........
      clean wheelie bins
check winter footwear is clean and intact
      back up discs
      purge paper files
wipe all handles and light switches with disinfectant cloth
      clean lamp shades
      clean light bulbs
      clean telephones
think about panto - do you need to get tickets booked

check stores in case of bad weather (as its predicted!!) - salt for the paths, tinned food, longlife milk, loo rolls, batteries, matches, candles - start buying a few extra bits rather than get caught out.

check hot water bottles and electric blankets are safe
get summer duvets cleaned and put away
inventory freezer ready to make space for Christmas food
      clean a rug
sweep doorstep and shake the doormat
      dust the curtain poles/rails
clean all the handheld playthings -DS lites, etc think of all the grubby hands that have used them!
      clean any brass/copper items
wash frequently used toys (if possible)
      vacuum edges of carpets
clean plugholes and overflows on sinks - bottle brush is good for this
      check outside lights
      vacuum/wipe/polish headboards
clean garden furniture and toys and put away in the shed/garage
think ahead to the Jolly fatman coming - is there room for more toys/books etc - have a clean out in readiness

Some of our newer members maybe wont know that you need to do something every day for 21 days for it to become a habit - perhaps we could all choose one thing that we often let slide and try to do it for 21 days?

hope you get something out of that lot
      toots xx
      Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
