*potentially* a stupid question - Iphone Ringtone
Options
Hi all
I recently bought my sil's iphone 3gs from her. she restored everything to factory settings for me.
I want to put a song as a ringtone so thought if i buy from apple tunes store i could do this but they just go straight to the Ipod part of the phone.
There must be a way around this??

Not got an iphone, but on adroid there are lots of ringtone maker apps - have a look and see if you can download one. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0

You cant make songs ringtones on iphones. You can download iphone song ringtones on-line but they are only a part of the song.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

I know there are apps that allow you to create your own, but I dont know of any that allows you to convert songs from itunes into ringtones. You can download actual ringtones from itunes, but they are expensive.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

It's easy to make them. Type into YouTube or go on to the ap store and find an application called ringtone. Walkthrough is really easy!0

Apple don't allow downloaded tracks to be used as ringtones but that doesn't mean to say it can't be done and there are probably plenty of apps available if you wish to search Google for them. What Apple do allow you to do is copy a track into iTunes from a CD and then convert that track into a ringtone. You can have as many as you like on a 3GS but there is a default setting of three (I think) on the iPhone 4 but this can be changed. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button
