It doesn't mention whether or not they are recharable, I would assume they would be. But I'm looking for a phone that has a rechargable pack (like a mobile) rather than the need for AA batteries.

I may be wrong, but I'd hazard a guess you may have difficulty.

Since a cordless phone is designed to be left in the dock when not in use (so typically recharging much more often than a mobile) there's probably little incentive for the manufacturer to use anything more expensive than AAA's or AA's.
