And how can I be racist when I love men in kilts and am half scottish myself .

that's true in a very specific sense but kind of meaningless really... even very young children can [correctly] very quickly spot that people with recent lineage that predominately comes from different parts of the world often look, sound, etc somewhat different... whether you call these differences 'race' or something else is neither here nor there...

I think there are quite a few people out there who are racist and are also against immigration, which is why the two get confused. I think the two can be very different from one another though.
