Ipad sending POP email using Voda sim.

I have a 3g ipad and have cut down a contract sim from a Voda BB dongle.

Internet works fine, receiving email is also OK, only problem is I cannot `send` email from the ipad using my ntlworld email account.

On my iphone I can send from the same account using send.vodafone.net as the outgoing server but for some reason the same does not work on the ipad.

Both sims (iphone and ipad) are Voda contract sims.

Any advice would be welcome.

There were changes on 1st october for people sending emails from Vodaphone devices on NTLworld accounts. I received an e-mail about it but deleted thinking I would remember,.... and didn't!

If you can't get it going a get-round would be to set up a gmail account, add the ntlworld email address to gmail and verify it (gmail just sends a link to it which you have to click to prove the account is yours), add pop3 pickup to gmail for the ntl account and then use gmail on the ipad instead.
