Is it just me or is it just very hard to be accepted for a Tesco Credit Card?!?

I've applied twice, once 5 months ago and just now. Obviously both times declined. I wouldn't say my personal circumstances are perfect but they definately aren't bad either.

I hear that these decisions can be appealed?

I got accepted with no problems at all so wouldn't say they are very hard to get accepted for at all. In fact, it was probably the easiest to get, accepted in minutes on their website and card/pin arrived about a week later.

Might pay to get your free credit report and look if there is anything wrong there (had it before where I was refused all over the place because of an 84p debt I owed that I was unaware of)

  • My credit report is ok, it might be the 70% used credit thing. There's a number on the url above, I'll call them.
