Yep and I read yours as well. I posted a comment on yours a few days ago.

I did see that hun about maybe meeting up over the hols. I'd be happy to try and do that. I do miss all my flyladies, but there is not enough hours in the day to get everything done. I should pop in. xxx
  • A quid is a bit of an anticlimax. Still gift horses and all.

I'm not knocking it. A pound spent there, is equivalent to 3x that in a supermarket, maybe more? Better than a kick up the bum, as my old dad says.
  • My Ma says "better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick".

Been to our field to collect logs and deliver to M and D, since there is scaffolding in the way of us storing any more at present. Trying to keep children, dogs and selves well exercised.

  • Good day yesterday messing about, and baby had his first swim - outdoors and loved it.

DH has taken DDs riding, I have to pay some big renovation bills today (the not-so-fun part) and get some boring old ironing done.

My mum says "Better than a slap round the ear with a wet kipper"! Have no idea where she got that one from, as as far as I know we're not from anywhere near the sea!
