DD1 could just about write her name when she started school, DH and I were very into the Norweigan way of doing things - nothing formal until age 7 or 8.
As time went on we realised that in a less-than-dynamic school, this was a disadvantage to her and provided school with an excuse for her lack of attainment. We even got a private ed psych report done (££££££££££££) so we had evidence she was as bright as we thought.
I do 15 min catch up maths with her on school days, and it is paying off.
We changed our view thinking about what happened if she was level 4s at KS2, then didn't end up in top sets at secondary.
I guess as with most things, one has to try to strike a happy medium.

I find Quidco a bit slower than TCB. They do payout eventually and the site changed recently. They tell you on your account when they are going to pay out and I think it's the 1st of the month by BACS. They take £5 a year off you though.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Do you mean what limit? I have found it over a pound, and they also seem to do a midmonth payout option now.0

i think you can set a minimum in the settings, i had an e-mail saying that i had £5.50 but my limit was set at £10 so they would hold on to it until i reached my limit!0

£1 credit. Thanks hon.
Hiya Julie. Do you always come in and read? I keep meaning to pop in and fly. Might really make a comeback at it when the boys are both at school come September.0 -
