  • Got sugar all marking done yesterday, Baby not sleeping, builder came to visit, DH had run out of ironed shirts...

But. we have a bathroom plan (scheduled for August) I am now trying to source victorian style glass for an internal window. Dog walked, and electrician due at 11.

Will have to crack on with the marking today. Made in Chelsea last night was hysterical...how can people with degrees think that fish give birth through their mouths???

Probably, but the shower ones tend to be a bit smaller and come with a little wall attachment so you can have it hung up where you can see it and remember to use it.

I just thought i would pipe up as a fellow flylady and give a tip that might save some work. ;)

Hope today is less distracting so you can get on with the marking.
  • Thanks michelle. Well I have dealt with the electrician, and sourced an extractor fan and some "Murano" glass for the internal window.

I am not going for a loo roll holder on the wall, but one of those wooden spike ones.

Some washing done, and a little snooze!

  • Some you win...

Mr S delivery was late, so got a ten quid voucher, but...

DH accepted the delivery as I was marking and he failed to spot 45p worth of nappy sacks had been substituted for a fiver's worth (the same number of bags)

Looks like there will be school closures on June 30th due to industrial action.

  • Yep I should look on the bright side! Few more jobs done, was about to make a kitchen floor plan to scale when baby woke up, he was up 1.30-4 this morning so feeling a little jaded.

  • Big boo hiss to Boden, placed an order with a discount + free scarf code, and no scarf...no really good excuse either, just ran out. Poor show.
