    Grateful,

I have really enjoyed reading your diary. Keep up the good work, but take your time over that marking (says a mum of twins doing their AS levels lol). Esp with those wrong questions- one of mone spent ages try to figure out why he couldn't figure it out lol.'

I have been debt free for a while now, but struggled when mine were younger esp when the twins came. So yes, saving for uni is no joke. Thought I had enough (son1 is in year 2 now) but am having to rethink as prices are going up so much.
  • Thanks, and I will take care with the marking...I can't understand how papers can come out with such glaring mistakes...but I completely sympathise with the kids who are panicked and put off by them. x

    You are getting loads done.

The number of times you say "feed baby" indicates you are demand feeding. It's a great thing to do for the baby, and I'm glad I did it, and I'd encourage you to continue for as long as it feels right for you and your baby, but it does involve a certain amount of letting go of the idea of "getting lots done", except when you can find ways of multitasking. So chill out, enjoy these precious few months when you are all the baby wants or needs, and worry about getting stuff done when the baby is bigger and has other things to explore.

I demand fed twins. I am still exahausted (even though now giving them driving lessons- it's age 16 here)
  • Thanks, Lois, kind and wise words. Demand feeding is the only way to go IMHO, tried following Gina Ford with #1 - disaster.

Atush, I cannot imagine how you did that, but hugely well done. I'm lucky I'm not feeling too tired as he sleeps well at night (touch wood).

Off to doc's with him today.

The only thing I managed to do whilst feeding DD was read a book as I became skilled at feeding 'no handed!'

I read 'the baby whisperer' when dd was a baby and I was terrified of 'breaking the bond', am not following any books this time but still watch supernanny from time to time!

Hope all is ok re: needing to go to docs?

  • Love supernanny!

His glands have been up for weeks, just need to get it checked out - and hoping I am just being paranoid. He's otherwise really well.

  • Doc says to not worry just yet. Also reckons baby looks like Andy Murray...
