I made cold cream once ...I enjoyed science that day.
Those were back in the days when science teachers were men who wore tweed jackets with elbow patches. I think it must have changed a bit since then!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -

The first time I ever did a parents' evening, when I was 24, one of the dads came up to my table, sat down, and opened with "You're awfully young to be a science teacher, aren't you?" I had no idea how to reply.
My dad used to have leather elbow patches when I was a kid, but I haven't seen any for years. But really, they're very MSE - prolong the life of the jacket considerably, I understand.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

I did wonder why they worn the elbow patches!
I feel I missed out on the good science stuff with having older male teachers that were stuck in the 70's. It's a shame really. My children all love science now. AND Nina and the neurons ..wow I learn from that programme all the time!
Teachers do seem to be getting younger though ..or is it me getting older. No .. definately younger!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
