does anybody know if there is an expiry on this? was thinking of getting it for a little present for my friends fella-but I have no idea when his current membership expires.....

    TIA

Quite an expensive gift (or at least it usually is) for a 'friends fella'

I dont think they expire, ive bought my brother stuff like this before and he's still had 6 months to go on his previous memebership, sometimes longer and its always been fine. There's never been an expiry date on any of the ones ive bought,or that my mum has bought for him. HTH :)
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona

Sometimes I go through my bargain buys that I put aside for future presents and decide I can't give somebody something as it looks like it cost too much and more often than not it cost me a lot less than I would usually spend on them :rotfl:

yeah, I think my problem is i dont think of the price the presents look like......i have set prices per person and regardless of what bargains i get i still spend the set amount.....some friends often get £100's of presents when ive only spent £50....perhaps i should start doing it logically and making it look like i spent £50 lol
  • What about their pre order price promise would that cover this ??

Thats a very good point! Id forgotton all about their pre order price promise. In theory it should .... But im sure they'll find a way to wriggle out of it :undecided
There's been posting on other forums where people are saying they've ordered hundreds to sell. Which just seems ridiculous and i cant imagine hmv honouring pre orders of that size at this price. Maybe some of the people who've only ordered the one might be able to wangle keeping it at that price under the pre order price promise.

    Pricing

All charges are in UK Pounds.
All overseas orders will be charged in their respective currencies based on current exchange rates. Payment will only be taken from your card on despatch of your order.
Please be aware that prices displayed in your shopping bag are the current prices of the goods and the amount you will be charged for each item when submitting your order.
All prices on hmv.com are for online purchases only and may differ from hmv Stores.
Prices are subject to change without notice.

Thats correct for any store,But hmv do have a pre order price promise. So who knows what will happen.

so that doesnt mean they can just bust us with full price without asking?

As it stands I have made a contract with hmv for 2.99 and i am waiting for them to accept. I have accepted the 2.99 but not full price, so they can either agree or decline, but not charge at full price without consultation as i have not accepted this nor been given the chance to decline :o

The pre order price promise is that if they reduce it that is what you will receive the product as? ...lol they cant reduce any further :rotfl:
