Yeah, it's this style, but not this colour. I wish I could afford a new one, but I can't. No other options then?0

If it is the XT24 (3.4kW) there are three or four elements inside it, its just possible that the one or more of the elements have blown..... you can still get replacement elements but they cost £20 - £30 each plus the cost of getting someone in (if you are not up to it yourself) a new storage heater to replace it is around

by the way, please don't be tempted by any other type of oil/fan/convector heater because at peak day time rate it will cost you an absolute fortune to run.There are three types of people in this world...those that can count ...and those that can't!

I've no idea. I've had to come to my folks because the flat's too cold. I only moved in October 1st and am waiting for the prepayment meter to be changed(Nov 20th as it stands)0 -
