Wii Accesories Argos (remote/twin/dock/nunchuk) GLITCH?? £14.39

Got one today, after the usual kerfuffel, was in a hurry, so by the time we checked we were already in the car, in traffic. Just my luck, some sod in Argos had swapped the remote for a duff Wii one! It was grubby, sticky, and the strap was filthy. Got back this evening, and to their credit, replaced without question. Phew! Now all up and running, good deal. I did use the phrase, "We've been conned." True, though, but the shop wasn't to know of course. I wonder how often that happens with a big outfit like Argos.

i have just reserved at another argos store near me for tomorrow so gonna try again fingers crossed they wont refuse it this time

I reserved yesterday, but after reading some of the comments on here, I reserved again this morning (so they couldn't say the price had changed over night!). The manager was really helpful, and really apologetic that it took so long to sort! :-) thanks again.

The manager of Argos Peterborough refused to honour it (even with the print out) AND said they'd refused one yesterday too. They had spoken to customer services and been told not to honour the deal

If you can make an order upto £50 bung it on free delivery online , that was a bit tight seeing as how many people have got them

I got one today in Ebbw Vale, we actually i sent my hubby in and the 2 men serving at the tills were all set to refuse him, they even tried to make out that my hubby had made the order form print out himself on the computer changing the prices!! lol so they called the manager and he told them it was ok and to alter the price at the till. lol

Popped back in this morning with my printout and they were happy to honour it at the Exeter branch in Marsh Barton )

thanks. if they honour in ipswich it means the whole family will get to play together in our house :-) - at christmas! either way ill buy the docking thing :-)
