:beer: Thanks a lot my other half took my print out with him to argos tried to pay at machine but kept getting up wrong price so went to customer service where assistant called manager who said their prices can change over night and he would not do it so my partner point out the small wording on left to price {special offer if all purchased at same store} he was still saying no their prices change a very angry partner getting a bit loud said shall i tell everyone in this packed shop that take no notice of the prices as they could change before you pay for them and he would be getting onto head office the manager quickly changed his mind and gave it to him so thanks op:j

Went in yesterday and checked my reservation, came up as 29.99. Told manager it was wrong told to bring in recept today and they sold me 2 sets for £29 what a bargin, got extra kids to day so all 4 of them playing mario cart just in time for holidays me thinks.

Gave my DH the print out for 2 sets and asked him to pop out in his lunch hour as I have had run ins at my local store before and didn't fancy my chances there. He took the print out to the desk and explained that the machine wasn't letting him have the items at the price on the print out. The manager couldn't have been more apologetic and put them both through with no problem.

Collected mine this morning, tried the machine first came up at £35 so took it to the tills, no problems at all they quickly checked the price on the internet then reduced it for me. Kids are now happily playing with them, was planning on wrapping them up for christmas, but needs must ITS HALF TERM!!!

Thanks for this. Just picked up my order from the Carden Avenue branch in Patcham. Took the print out with me and had no problems at all.

I pointed out to the customer service people that their card machine cant have updated as it was showing £35 when my reservation clearly states £14. She said that sometimes they take a while to update!!

Lol I came home from work today and dh had given them to the kids ,even though they were supposed to be for xmas , like you say though it's half term ,well worth £14.39 to save arguing lol !! :rotfl:

went in yesterday and they wouldnt give it to me... but went back today with the print out and manager just did the override. i think the trick is to act a bit stupid... like 'oooooo i just clicked the link on the internets!'
