Your comment about the iPad being slow , I beg to differ that . My iPad is no slower than my laptop , loads pages immediately . I am using it now and guarantee when i press submit it will load my new page within 1-2 secs

The iPad works fine for the web. Especially if if it is not slowed down by Flash running.
The Vega might be 2 1/2 times as fast as the iPad but still slower than a half decent netbook.

Amazon are still selling the expandable 8GB iPad CPU enabled Archos 5 (a bit like a Dell streak?) at £130. I'm not sure if it becomes obsolete next month but it is currently the best sub £200 tablet by far.
