Humous has been £1 for months last week it went up 20p and now its back down to £1. They just shuffle prices round.

At our Tesco flavoured Humous is priced at £1.20 (used to be £1.14 for ages).

However, it's almost always on a 'buy 2 for £2' deal.

But for some strange reason, every few months they remove that deal and it spends a couple of weeks a £1.20 per pot - no options.

Quite why they do this is a mystery as I'm sure most people don't buy it at this price as they consider the 'proper' price top be £1 a tub.
There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.

And the wholemeal 1.5kg and brown 1.5kg strong bread flour is also down to £1 each (usually £1.19 or thereabouts).

My husband and I still talk about the magic day that we found Wholemeal Hovis Strong Bread Flour reduced to 25p in Tesco (we bought 30kg of it!).

Nothing wrong with tesco putting the price up, there will no doubt be external costs which influence the cost of the flour
