Tesco Strong Flour - Price Hike

Only last week we was paying 60p for a bag of Tescos own Strong White Flour (for bread making) today we went to get some and it has shot up to an amazing £1.29. Guess we will be looking elsewhere

At that price they won't sell many so will have to shift the lot dirt cheap soon, bide your time. Go elsewhere for a week or two then check again :)

They'll probably cut the price to about 96p and make a fuss about how great they are for cutting prices. (Ignoring the fact that you're paying a lot more than before.)

I've spotted that trick before with 500g packs of pasta. The price went from 67p to 99p. A few weeks later it was prominently 'reduced' to 79p.

I bet, they will use the increase in wheat prices to do this sort of thing more often.

last week in tescos their strong bread flour was still 1.29 today it was 50p - fill your boots - as it has a habit of dropping in price and then increasing dramatically!

Wheat prices have shot up and all the staple grains etc have done also. Even animal feed has rocketed.
  • Humous has been £1 for months last week it went up 20p and now its back down to £1. They just shuffle prices round.
