Hi, Does anybody know what is the best card at the moment for a super balance transfer?
Thanks.
Thanks.
If I was rich I wouldn't care about money. Think I should be rich because I don't care about money now!

Thanks for enlightening meDoes this still qualify as a cash advance attracting the same interest rates or is there generally a better rate applied?

Barklaycard are allowing you to do that at a 2.5 percent fee and at a rate of 6.9 percent for life.0

They are not a cash advance, they are a money transfer. There are only a few cards that do it and have 0% on the balance transfer for a certain period of time.
I have recently done one with MBNA, 0% for 14 months with a 1.9% transfer fee. Has effectively moved my overdraft onto the credit card so that HSBC can stop charging me £100+ a monthOverdrafts transferred to MBNA £953.40/£4279.80 Car insurance (on CC) £461.98/£751.98  Bank of mum and dad £1500/£5000Total debt repaid £2915.38/£10,031.78 (29%):T Owed [STRIKE]£10,031.78[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £7400[/STRIKE] £7116.40 Pay off as much as you can in 2011 challenge £1127.60/£40000 -

That sounds like a very good idea, I have a terrible credit history at the moment due to a failed business so only have a Cap 1 card and a Vanquis card that would explain why I have not come across this lol "You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -

From looking at MSE I can see that MBNA and Virgin are both offering super balance transfers. Anybody got any idea which is best as their respective websites have very little info about it.If I was rich I wouldn't care about money. but looking at my account on line it looks like I can only do a standard balance transfer with a 2.98% ( no mention of the 4% fee for the SBT )0 -

Just found this - The introductory rate for balance transfers and money transfers only applies to transactions made within 60 days of the account opening date.If I was rich I wouldn't care about money. Think I should be rich because I don't care about money now! :beer:0 -

Virgin is issued by MBNA. The offers you get depend a bit on your circumstances. Often the problem for new applicants is getting a sufficiently high credit limit for what they want to do.0
