Hi.
My wife and I have been with Orange for over 6/7 years now. A couple of years back my wife went PAYG but she now wants to go back to contract. She's asked me to do some research on the phone and to get a decent contract. She doesn't want to spend more than £12 per month and £15 would be the max.
Ideally she's have 300 texts and 100mins, but if it could be a little more than that then great. She doesn't think she'll need data, but my feeling is that it would be good if a bit was included. Does anyone know of a deal that would match this?
Does anyone know if she can get a good deal through orange since she is an old customer? The problem is that she went PAYG for a while so I don't know how it works.

The natural switch is to go sim only, never really seen a retention offer that smells any better than the network suggesting the customer is a mug.0

OK you convinced me (I think), I always dismissed SIM only deals, but maybe this is the best way to go. Only thing is my wife really doesn't know what type of phone to go for. We've always had HTC but they're expensive now and are mostly touch screen. She's not sure about touchscreen as she's a texter. More thinking to do...Moneysaving since 2004!0

I'm a texter and I have a Satio, which offers an alpha numeric keypad, so the switchover was easy, the ipod touch does not seem to have this keyboard so not sure about the iphone or other touchscreen handsets for that matter0 -
If you are considering sim only have a look at the deal tesco have on at that moment.
500 minutes
unlimited texts
unlimited internet (500mb usage limit)
All for £10 a month on a 30 day contract.
I got this deal for my son and i have found tesco to be spot on and they use the o2 network so they have good coverage.0
