    no dont think your being awkward just the whole thing is so confusing i know im paying it and dont think it will cover me anyway because im a full time student think ill just knock the idea on the head
    If it does not cover you then you do have a good case here. I would make the complaint and see where it goes from there. It is a good reason. Can I just ask looking back at your original opening post you state it was added 10 years ago. Were you a student for all that time?
  • i wasnt in full time education when i took out the card that has only been the last 2 years but when i took it out i was working 16 hours in a shop so if i went sick i would have only had ssp not sure if thats a case though

    If you were working 16 hours a week when you took it out it most probably would have covered you anyway and having SSP would most probably not be enough to make the repayments?? If you feel it was missold to you then make a complaint but you do have to have a solid case for this and not make any mistakes as you only have one go at complaining. I don't know what to suggest to you and perhaps others will post to you here.
