Hiya
Is the account still running?
If so write to them and request they send you a copy of the agreement, enclose £1 cheque or postal order, ask they supply by 12-14 days, enclose the account number if you have this or give them as many details as possible, name/address and so on.
Your still able to continue with the reclaiming though with the reasons you have.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

You dont need a copy of the terms and conditions. Quite a few people have posted similar in recent times which suggests this is becoming a bit of an internet myth with no basis of fact. Perhaps it was caused by the dodgy claims companies and their attempts to get debts made unenforceable if the lender could not produce the original agreement (which a court ruled in favour of the lenders). And another question although i have had my credit card for about 10 years i have not made a purchase for about 6 years but am still paying it off talk about the never never lol so would i still be able to claim?
Complaining about PPI is not dependent on how you use the card. You are complaining about how it was sold to you in first place. There is nothing wrong with having PPI. Its all about how it was sold.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
I would say that terms and conditions are only applicable if your complaint is about not being covered and also that you had no choice of having the PPI and it was an advised sale. If it was non advised then it is hard to prove misselling (as you would normally tick a box to say you had read the terms and conditions and understood them) unless the box was pre ticked in the first place and you had no way of unticking it and moving forward on your application.0

And how will that help you in respect of claiming the sale of the product was wrong?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Hi, the terms and conditions will not show you how you were sold the product though.charlieangel15 wrote: »Because i need to know if i signed for ppi, sorry if im being thick but im new to this0 -

Thats a turnaround from your earlier post when you said "i cant remember much about the sale ".
You may think we are being awkward but expect this sort of thing with any complaint. Had the same occurred in your complaint (i.e. saying you cant remember and then later saying you were definitely missold) then you make it easier for them to reject your complaint.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
