Buying out of contract

Hi, both mine and my husbands contracts wwith T Mobile finish in Feb, we have been told tonight that some suppliers will buy you out of your last 3/4 months if you swap to a new supplier.
We were looking to leave T Mobile anyway to go with Orange as we both want Blackberrys and they seem the best option.
Two questions, does anyone know who will buy you out of your contract at this stage, and are Orange our best option re the Blackberry choice? we just want to get on the internet when we want, not fussed about sat nav as we have those anyway.
Any advice greatly appreciated - thanks
