    Well.. update.

Spoke to Vodafone this morning, they hadn't added on the correct mobile internet package when they first processed the contract.

As a goodwill gesture they have upgraded her to 900mins, unlimited texts and 1GB internet for £30 (was £40 but have added a recurring £10 discount per month)

The woman also apologised for the sheer stress (and grounded daughter, lol) and upset this caused and has wiped out this month's bill entirely. So the £30 contract charge, £130 odd for internet AND the £48.88 that dd had used in phone calls over the 900 free mins. Nothing to pay this month at all.

Quite honestly, Vodafone were brilliant. And I can breathe again.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped me.
  • That's great news! I'm glad to hear a good ending to the story. I had a similar issue with Orange. I asked for a genuinely unlimited internet bundle and when I checked the bill they had given me an "off peak" internet package! Oops. I phoned them up and they gave me an internet package with a fair use policy of 3Gb and refunded the bill.
