TMobile fraud on account

Hi All

I wonder if someone can help me, sorry but didnt know whether to post on here or in banking.

I've recently opened a statement from a Nationwide account that I never user and good job I did as there was a direct debit setup from Tmobile. This issue is that I don't have a tmobile mobile.

The bank says its nothing to do with them and Tmobile wont speak to me as I don't know the mobile number, I got so far with tmobile with one customer service lady but she said the address doesn't match so for data protection she couldn't take the call any further.

The bank have said it's set up in my name and matching my account number so that is it.

I have tried calling tmobile and emailing a fraud email address one of the customer service agents gave me but has no response.

Email address was - fraudriskintelligence@everythingeverywhere.com

can anyone recommend anything esle, the direct debit has been stopped, another part is that this took me over drawn from the 2 direct debits so I have had a penalty from nationwide.

I've had the account since I was 8, didnt even know it could have a direc debit or go overdrawn.

Does any one know any other numbers or email addresses, i've also faxed them with no reponse.

Thanks all
Richie

You should report it to the fraud dept at your bank, if your acc been compromised they need to look into to it and change the acc number.

I don't know an what email address for T, I don't recognize the one you've quoted above, but so many have been changed since the Everything Everywhere brand started that means nothing. I know T's fraud team are outsourced.

To be honest, there is nothing they can tell you any way. The data protection act stops them. So even if you find an email address for them it won't get you any where (sorry).

The issue need to be raised with the bank as its those details that have been use, T will have been defrauded as well as you as, I'm guessing, that the bank with claw back the DD's. They should also refund you any changes for going overdrawn once they'll run their own investigation...
  • Thanks Jon, looks like i'll be back to the bank again tomorrow. Even though been in 2 different ones already.

That keep saying 'Tmobile issue and you need to claim from them the penalty and then pay it to us, it's your own fault for not reading statements'

But then even if i did see the first ever statement it would have taken me over drown so im in the same situation, t mobile customer service is shocking, and nationwide is the same.

You claim it back from the bank under the DD guarantee system.

Banks like to blame other people, save them doing any work. . .
