The E111 only gives you reciprocal Health care, which varies enormously depending which country you are travelling to. Make sure you read the section on the relevant country in the information part of the E111 itself.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
Thanks for the freebie, I've bought the magazine and will send off for the offer, if it works will be sending a postcard from Paris! oh and the magazine is also a great read!0

Ok, so my wife and I are past stage 1 and now have two free ticket booking vouchers (different addresses of course). Now I need some advice.
Haven't travelled on Eurostar before so dont know the score.
Question----If my wife and I both ask to go on Eurostar on the same day, and are lucky enough to get allocated the same departure time from Waterloo, can we sit together (ands hold hands), or are seat numbers allocated to passengers like on aircraft? Or if we get separate seats, is it possible to just sit where you like? (You can tell I haven't been on Eurostar before)
Advice please (dont say take somebody else!!)I know nothing - really!!0 -
As far as I know, all seats are reserved, as I found out to my cost when they booked us in the smoking coach. The train manager threatened to throw us off when we refused to sit in those disgusting seats.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

After sending off for the free ticket twice as they said they hadn't received the first one I have now got an email to say "Unfortunately we have exhausted all our promotional availability with Eurostar, due to the huge response we have had for this promotion. However we will be able to offer you a flight to Paris."
Ok no eurostar but they can get me a flight for £50 to Paris and not on any of the 3 dates that I had to state.I am going to forget this one....Has anybody actually got a Eurostar ticket?0
