Taxes, etc are easily calculated by going to the website of the appropiate airline & start the booking process.

Eurostar doesn't have any of those things of course.

If you are in Glasgow BTW watch the additional costs of getting to Prestwick & from Beauvais to Paris with Ryanair

It's a good deal for anyone travelling by themselves and who has flexibility in their travel times.

Suspect couple might find it a pain to book 2 seats on the same flight though and forget it if you have to travel on specific days.

    a) Ryanair tickets only cost something like 50p, all the rest is taxes, so its not really that good of a deal if you are planning on leaving from Glasgow, assuming they do use Ryanair, which seems the most obvious choice

    b) If you are travelling from Edinburgh, expect total times using Ryanair from Glasgow to be in the region of 10 hours! So, add that to the fact that you will be effectively be paying 80p more than the ticket cost for the mag, and its really not that good a deal

    c) from London however... :D looks good!
  • Has anyone had luck yet booking a trip? I also want to go with a friend on the train, hope to book two tickets for the same dates...
    I :heart2: Waitrose
  • This is my first posting with a freebie so please don't shoot me down in flames if this has already been posted, I just wanted to give something back for all the good freebies I've picked up here.

BBC new magazine What to Wear.

To celebrate the new issue, What to Wear is giving away a free return ticket to Paris (your choice of Eurostar or a flight) when you buy a copy of the magazine.

All you need to do is send us:
    Your till receipt
The contents page from the magazine
Bookings can be made until 30 November for travel until 30 December 2005 and you can travel at any time subject to usual availability.

Haven't got mine yet but I'm off to the newsagent as soon as they open!
    Sounds too good to miss.
    I'll catch up tomorrow!
  • Is it just the return flight that is free? How much does the outbound flight cost?
