Can I cancel my phone contract

I signed up to an 18-month contract just over a year ago with Vodafone, and included was the "unlimited mobile internet" package

Now they want me to pay if I use over 500mb, which is absolutely nothing

I'm sure it will have been in the FUP, but can they charge me for it, as now I'm being charged from the second it hits 500mb, that's a 500mb limit, and I didn't sign up for that

Would I be able to cancel my contract now without any fees?

Also, I got the contract through mobiles.co.uk so I don't know if I need to do anything different now?

If the FUP limit has always been in the contract, then you agreed it. The fact that they haven't enforced it until now is their prerogative and does not give you the right to break your contract.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

yeah, but isn't there a difference between an FUP and a forced limit? :o
