Evergreen Stove

Hi new to this site and needing some advice. Thinking of buying an Evergreen multifuel stove, and would like to know if they are ok. Any owners views very welcome, or anyone who has any helpful comments. Thanks

  • They're dreadful....we try our best to avoid fitting them.....they're cheap though! You'd do better with a Firefox or Tiger if you looking in the budget range. They're a lot better designed and a lot nicer to use and easier to work on.

    From what stove
The only minor comment is that two of the internal side screen cast iron sheets warped with the intense heat and one snapped.

I dont know about you but I wouldnt buy something, the bits of which warp and snap with normal use.

Whilst I cant advise on the Evergreens, if indeed the Tigers are in the price bracket you are looking at then I can say Im more then happy with mine. Very easy to control. not bad looking and so easy to clean
