Blackerry internet help??

Options
Im completely rubbish when it comes to all things mobile internet so would love some help!!
My sister has asked for a Blackberry curve for christmas and at the minute she has got a Samsung tocco lite on T-Mobile payg. She is really pleased with the tarrif she is on as when she tops up £10 she gets unlimited texts and internet the next month which is extremely important to a 16yr old!!
Ive found the Blackberry on tmobile and the payg tarrif shows that you can add a flexible booster for 6 months unlimted internet for £20. Ive checked the site and cant find anywhere that says that this is capped. Just wondering if anyone is on this tarrif or can offer the best advice for which provider to go with for decent texts/internet offers.
Many thanks in advance:o

I think* the unlimited on T-mobile is 3GB I might be wrong though i was reading about it today somewhere.

Someone else will no for sure.

To be fair I wouldnt have though she will use that much internet on a mobile. 1GB is normally enough for most things. It would be good to make sure it is connected to the wifi in the house and any large files downloaded be done at home, that is what I do with my iPhone.

With BB's she will need to have the BIS service which is normally about £5 on it's own so just make sure the package is a BB one, which I think you have done and all her IM and email will be free.

    hope that helps.

You could use the Curve without the BIS service but it would act like a normal phone. Does she really need all the services BIS offer? do she need mobile email and calendar for example?

  • She uses her phone for mostly texts, the odd few phonecalls and mostly to see whats happening in the world of facebook!! Would that mean she could just use any sim in the blackberry and could she still use messenger??
    Thanks

If she gets BIS and her friends have a BB then she can use BB messenging rather than her text allowance.
