I was quite freaked out to be honest. It was more the fact that I don't feel I have done much in 30 years and I don't think my illness helps when it comes to ageing. I feel more like 60 some days than 30 :o.

I have got used to it now though. It helps that my OH is 36 this year .

Hi everyone, its been a busy week. Ive had my party and lots of people sleeping over, then the clean up before and after.

The party went well the place looked empty as their were 20 people there but there was planty of food and drink. The cake was massive I gave my last slice to the guys at work today after sharing it around and my visitors taking doggy bags each!

The Party came under budget I expected the venue to charge £275 including food but they charged me £245 :D, cake was £2.50 under budget too and my DJs refused to get paid (but they are getting HUGE xmas presents). And Brian got his birthday cake at my party!

I'm glad you had a good party - and under budget too :D.

I hope the room is nice. If it feels like home, then go for it. I instantly felt at home when I looked around my flat, so I knew I had to grab the chance to live here there and then.

Its funny the last place I stayed in was the first I chose and I met my flatmate there!! I have a good feeling about it already, with this flat it was the second lace we liked and told the landladies there and then that we wanted it. As it happens their next couple didnt shpw so it was meant to be! :rotfl:

It's good that your party was such a success. For deciding on places to live - do your research, but trust your instincts.
