    SHort answer, dont buy it

My personal exprience with norton leaves me with the knowledge i will not touch it with a barge pole

There are plenty of free packages out there that do the same, and work well. No need to waste your hard earned cash on this product

i was a big norton basher as it was way over priced, resource hungry, but in a debate on the subject with someone i thought how could i justify my comments on something i hadnt tried for years, so i got the 90 day trial and tried norton 360.. so glad i did try it as its a changed product. it hardly uses any resources now, even on a scan.easy to set up and updates and runs fine in the back ground giving a good full protection..

people are quick to jump on the norton bashing (as i was) without even testing it lately or looking into how it compares against the other options out there

now you can get a full years protection for £1 for 3 pcs its a no brainer.

There's a clever method here on the pcrepairmansblog website that I just used (sorry can't post links).

He sells it in his shop cheaper than my renewal came through, but I just used his method to get the latest version of Norton 360 for £14. 3 user licence and it's a completely legal way too. That's £46 off! :money:

For info, I tried the free AVG and Avast and Norton seems a bit quicker to me.

Hi if you only require for one pc then heres how to get it cheaper...sorry I misread it's actually for three pc's.

Currently half price on norton website @ £29.99 then enter code NORTON60VK takes the price down to £12.00 and if you buy through quidco they have 30% cashback so that reduces the net price to below £9.00p
